Apple researching autostereoscopic 3-D display hardware

Apple has been conducting research on a new breed of display hardware that would employ autostereoscopy to produce three-dimensional images that can be viewed by multiple users without the need for special headgear or glasses.

ATI gets DisplayPort Certification

ATI is the first graphics card manufacturer to have its graphics cards officially certified for the new DisplayPort interface. VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) has officially certified ATI Radeon HD 3400, Radeon HD 3600, Radeon HD 3800 and ATI FireMV 2260, and the IGP AMD 780G for DisplayPort.

OCZ, Corsair & Crucial launches 2000MHz DDR3 modules

Corsair and Crucial have all launched new DDR3 modules sporting the highest frequency yet. Corsair Dominator TW3X2G2000, Crucial Ballistix PC3-16000 and OCZ PC3-16000 all operate at 2000MHz, have EPP 2.0 profiles and are labeled as SLI-Ready.
