Clevo unveils Atom-based sub-notebook with 10h battery time

At CeBIT, Clevo unveiled a sub-notebook called TN70M. It’s based on the Intel Atom platform. The 990g sub-notebook packs in a hyperthreaded Silverthorne 1.6GHz processor that runs off a 533MHz front-side bus, it has a 7in touchscreen WSVGA (1.024 x 600) display. Storage is catered for by a 1.8in drive and external wireless connectivity will range from traditional WiFi through to WiMAX.

Intel preparing a mini-ITX G45 mobo

Intel is try to put G45 and a Quad CPU into a mini-ITX box. The mobo supports Intel Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Duo processors. The two memory slot supports up to 4GB DDR2 800MHz.
The mobo will hit the market before June.

EDIT (14/3/07) : We received new information concerning this board, This board only supports core 2 duo NOT core 2 Quad as originally stated.

Patriot Memory announces Solid State Drives with capacities up to 256GB

Patriot is the next memory manufacturer to jump onto the solid state train. It has unveiled a whole range of drives of both the 2.5″ and 3.5″ formfactors, with capacities up to 256GB.

CrossFireX now enabled in Catalyst 8.3

Now that AMD has released the Catalyst 8.3 drivers, CrossFireX is finally out in the wild. This means that you will be free to combine any cards of the Radeon HD 3800 series; 3850, 3870 and 3870X2, mix and match any way you want. If you want to run three or four cards doesn’t matter, but it’s only available in Windows Vista.
